[Verse 1] Plex is streaming movies, servers humming in the dark, Nine-six-six-five-four's the number, leaves a scorch mark, Encoded URI schemes slip past the web page gate, Attacker calls your plugins, sets the parameters straight, Borrowing functions they don't own, puppeting the code, One crafted link's the trigger, walking down that road, Your media server's talking to a stranger wearing your face, Improper neutralization — syntax left no trace. [Chorus] October twenty-second, patch notes on the wall, Plex and Siemens calling, gotta answer that call, SSRF, DLL, and a sneaky URI scheme, Wake up from the server room, this ain't just a dream. [Verse 2] Now flip to nine-six-six-five-two, same house, different crack, Server-Side Request Forgery, sneaking out the back, Any X-Plex-Token holder slides a full URL in, Stuffs it in the protocol field, tells your server where it's been, Now your trusted box is fetching places it should never roam, Internal networks, hidden ports, all through your own home, The server thinks it's you asking, politely holds the door, That's the quiet danger SSRF's always standing for. [Verse 3] Switch the scene to Siemens, Software Center on the floor, One-one-oh-nine-three-six, DLL slipped through the pore, Uncontrolled search path element — loose directory trust, Authenticated local user plants a file of rust, App goes looking for a library, grabs the fake one first, Executes whatever's hiding, satisfies its thirst, Local access turns to local takeover real quick, Lock that search path down before the DLL takes the lick. [Chorus] October twenty-second, patch notes on the wall, Plex and Siemens calling, gotta answer that call, SSRF, DLL, and a sneaky URI scheme, Wake up from the server room, this ain't just a dream. [Verse 4] Think about the blast radius, the trust chains intertwined, A media app, a plant-floor tool, both running unconfined, One bad token, one fake DLL, one link you didn't send, Multiply across the network, watch the dominoes descend, Security's not a feature you install and then forget, It's patches rolled out Tuesday and the vendors you can vet, Every scheme and every path and every token held, Is a door somebody's watching, waiting to be felled. [Bridge] Three holes, one Tuesday, media box and plant-floor tool, Tokens, protocols, and search paths — don't play it cool, Patch the Plex server, audit who holds your keys, Scrub the Siemens pathways, bring that DLL to its knees. [Outro] Nine-six-six-five-four, nine-six-six-five-two, one-one-oh-nine-three-six too, Write 'em down, patch 'em quiet, that's the move for you, Critical and quiet, October's still got teeth, Update before the server sleeps beneath. [Chorus] October twenty-second, patch notes on the wall, Plex and Siemens calling, gotta answer that call, SSRF, DLL, and a sneaky URI scheme, Wake up from the server room, this ain't just a dream.
