[Verse 1]
Sarah sits and waits for calls
When problems hit compliance walls
She scrambles fast to find solutions
While leadership needs quick resolutions
But there's a better way to play
Get ahead of what they'll need today
[Chorus]
Don't wait to be asked, bring the agenda
Monthly updates, not just addenda
Surface problems with solutions ready
Keep your cadence strong and steady
Proactive beats reactive every time
Make your contributions shine
[Verse 2]
Tom sends updates every month
Not just when there's a crisis crunch
He spots the issues leadership can't see
Brings recommendations proactively
Before the meeting, during work, when done
He keeps them informed at every turn
[Chorus]
Don't wait to be asked, bring the agenda
Monthly updates, not just addenda
Surface problems with solutions ready
Keep your cadence strong and steady
Proactive beats reactive every time
Make your contributions shine
[Bridge]
Here's something you should know before you ask
That's the proactive task
Not just answers when they come to you
Strategic thinking sees it through
Both are needed, both have place
But proactive sets the pace
[Verse 3]
Build your credibility day by day
Show them you can lead the way
Don't depend on review cycles
Break through those approval stifles
Initiative and consistent flow
That's how strategic careers grow
[Final Chorus]
Don't wait to be asked, bring the agenda
Monthly updates, not just addenda
Surface problems with solutions ready
Keep your cadence strong and steady
Proactive beats reactive every time
Make your contributions shine
Make your contributions shine
