[Verse 1] Picture a conductor, routing traffic through the night, Session Smart's the baton keeping Juniper's network tight, October twenty-eighth, they found a crack in that baton, A salt minion ID, crafted, sneaking past the dawn, No login needed, stranger strolls in cold, Types commands as root, the whole machine is sold, Score reads nine point eight, sirens in the code, One of two that high, among eighteen holes they showed. [Chorus] Critical, critical, nine point eight in the wire, Root access handed over, no password required, Patch it, patch it, seven oh five is the key, Seven one seven, seven two three — set your fences free, No workaround waiting, no shield, no detour, Upgrade's the only answer, upgrade's the only cure. [Verse 2] Here's the twist the headline left outside the frame, Juniper swears they've seen no hacker play this game, Checked against the CISA list, version ten-twenty-seven, Not one of those eighteen flaws made it up to that heaven, VulDB says the same, no exploit on the shelf, A page called "PoC exploit" just quotes the bug itself, So the danger's real but quiet, a locked door, not broken glass, Still the kind of lock you don't leave open as the hours pass. [Verse 3] Think about the network humming underneath it all, Conductor pulls the strings, answers every call, If a stranger finds the crack and climbs inside the frame, Every route and session could be bent to someone's game, Firewalls won't help you, segmentation's not enough, When the orchestra itself gets hijacked by a bluff, So the engineers are watching, logs lined up like stars, Tracing every minion ID behind the cyber bars. [Bridge] Guyana's CERT is calling, South Korea's on the phone, "Patch your Conductor now, don't leave the root alone," No countdown clock is ticking, no next step dated clear, Just watch the CISA catalog, watch for exploit code to appear, Watch Juniper's advisory, see if it gets revised, That's the whole forecast now — stay patched, stay advised. [Outro] Nine point eight on the gauge, but calm beneath the hum, Unexploited for now, don't let that make you numb, Three versions keep you breathing, seven-dot-something safe, Update the Conductor — that's the only safe escape.
